Online counselling in English for adults in Switzerland and the UK.

You understand yourself, but nothing seems to shift.

Part of you wants things to change. Another part holds you back. You might feel anxious, stuck in your head, or caught in ways of coping that you can't seem to break, even when you understand them.

I offer a confidential space to explore what’s underneath these patterns, so change can happen at a deeper level.

You’re welcome to book a free 20-minute introductory call to see if we’re a good fit.

Areas I Work With

You don’t need to fit into a category to begin. But people often come with experiences such as:

Relationships & Attachment

Exploring how you connect with others, including closeness, conflict, intimacy, boundaries, and communication. This might show up as moving towards others, pulling away, or moving between the two.

Trauma & Relational Wounds

Making sense of painful or difficult early experiences that may still affect how safe, settled, or connected you feel in yourself, your relationships, and the world. We can work gently with the impact of these experiences, at a pace that feels manageable.

Shame, Self-Worth & the Inner Critic

Working with self-doubt, self-critical thoughts, perfectionism and people-pleasing, and the sense of being “not enough” or “too much.” This can include managing others’ feelings, avoiding conflict, and putting others’ needs before your own.

Anxiety, Stress & Emotional Overwhelm

Feeling constantly “on”, with loops of overthinking, burnout, or performance anxiety, and difficulty relaxing or switching off. We may also explore how tension, procrastination, and avoidance affect your ability to move forward.

Emotional Sensitivity & Overstimulation

Feeling deeply and absorbing a lot from your environment, leading to becoming easily overwhelmed or flooded in daily life.

Identity, Belonging & Life Transitions

Navigating relocation, change and uncertainty, including decisions about direction, belonging, or what you want from life. This can also include deeper questions of meaning and purpose, or feeling unsure about what comes next.

Mind-Body Connection

The connection between your inner world and physical experience, including how stress, survival responses, and physical symptoms such as chronic pain may show up in the body.

Grief, Loss & Unprocessed Emotion

Supporting different forms of grief, including bereavement, separation, estrangement, and the grief of what never was.

Sexuality, Desire & Intimacy

Exploring your relationship with sexuality, desire, closeness, and intimacy, especially where these feel confusing, pressured, difficult to talk about, or shaped by shame, silence, or expectations.

Why Therapy Can Help

Insight can be important, but understanding why we respond the way we do is not always enough to create change. Often, the responses that keep us stuck developed for good reasons, even if they no longer fit our present life.

Therapy offers a supportive space to slow things down, notice what is happening beneath the surface, and begin relating to yourself with more clarity and choice. Together, we can support a growing sense of internal worth, helping you reconnect with your body, emotions, and inner sense of what feels right.

How I Work

My work is guided by curiosity, compassion, and respect for your autonomy. I believe therapy is not only about what you talk about, but also about what happens in the room between us.

Different parts of you may feel pulled in different directions. Rather than focusing only on immediate solutions or advice, we get to know these parts together, not as problems to fix, but as protective responses that developed for a reason. I aim to help you build a deeper, more authentic relationship with yourself. Over time, this can support greater self-understanding, self-trust, and more freedom in how you respond, connect, and move through the world.

Sessions are collaborative, relational, and grounded in non-judgment. We work gently, but not superficially, paying attention to emotion, patterns, and what feels most alive in the present moment. I offer enough guidance and structure for the work to feel held, while allowing the process to unfold in its own rhythm.

My work is trauma-informed and draws primarily on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment theory.

About

I’m a British-born Chinese counsellor based in Zurich, offering online counselling and therapy in English. As a native English speaker, I work with clients in Switzerland and the UK. Before retraining, I spent over a decade working in data, insight, and technology. That background still shapes how I work today, helping me make sense of complexity while staying deeply attuned to people’s emotional experiences.

I aim to create a space where you don’t have to filter or perform, and where all parts of you are welcome.
