Insurance

Coverage and Reimbursement

Sessions are paid privately and are not covered by basic health insurance.

Some supplementary insurance plans may reimburse part of the cost, depending on your provider and individual policy.

If you would like to explore this, I recommend checking directly with your insurer, as coverage varies between providers.

Reduced Fees

A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available for students or those on lower incomes.

Online Sessions

Online sessions take place via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, using secure, password-protected links.

Session length

Sessions are typically 60 minutes, with longer sessions (up to 90 minutes) available where appropriate.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Counselling is confidential. I will not disclose identifiable information without your explicit consent, except where disclosure is required or authorised by law, or where there is a serious risk of harm and disclosure is legally and ethically justified. Wherever possible, I would discuss this with you before taking any action.

I discuss my work in professional supervision, using anonymised information so that clients are not identifiable.

Your privacy also matters. Information about how your data is handled can be found in the Privacy Policy.

Payment

Invoices are sent after each session.

Payment is due within 7 days by bank transfer.

If fees remain unpaid, future sessions may be paused until the balance is settled.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations, Late Arrivals, and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at the full fee, except in cases of genuine emergency (e.g. sudden illness or urgent circumstances).

Timekeeping and Missed Sessions

If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time and the full fee will apply. If you are unable to attend and I have not heard from you, I will wait for 15 minutes. After this time, the session will be considered a missed appointment and charged in full.

Frequent Changes

If sessions are frequently rescheduled, cancelled at short notice, or missed, we may take time to review whether the current arrangement feels manageable and supportive.

Practitioner Cancellations

If I need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time. You will not be charged for sessions I cancel.

Next Steps

I offer a free 20‑minute introductory call so we can briefly discuss what you are looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.

Sessions are offered in English, and I work online with individual adults aged 18 and over.
